Community examples of success in social good should be shared. Your show host, Kristen Thomasino, Global Humanitarian, 22x Author, and Data Scientist, love to find others focused on creating positive outcomes. In this episode, you will go with the Social Good Warrior all over Los Angeles, California, as Thomasino meets community leaders at various events. Invited to participate in a charity event at the local Veterans Hospital, Thomasino is inspired after observing and interviewing some of the residents about their experience and what they thought would be helpful to improve the facility. Listening to these veterans was the first step in creating a Think Tank to work on a macro-level plan and assemble with others to see where we could achieve positive outcomes. Not one person can make an organization run more smoothly. It takes many parties and often some outside observations to help. After making contacts at the local Chamber of Commerce in Los Angeles, Thomasino makes a point to connect with Global Publicist Marie Y. Lemelle to figure out who to engage in the local scene that may be able to work on this initiative. Marie sends Kristen to the "Global Business Forum" to meet contacts like Dr. E. Lance McCarthy and others. She hears about a solution for affordable housing presented by the Soldiers of America that focuses on how to help veterans. Later Thomasino is invited to a Billionaire's Brunch at a mansion in Bel-Air, where she meets more people passionate about assisting Mayor of Los Angeles Karen Bass in addressing how to provide solutions for affordable housing. On assignment, covering an awards ceremony for 40 Influential Women for the Cultural Diversity Inclusion Foundation event, you get to hear interviews with inspirational women taking action for peace and prosperity. Don't miss out on catching up with legendary actress Margaret Avery from "The Color Purple," Amber Martinez from Marvel's "Wanda Vision" and "Surfside Girls," and American Actress Beverly Todd. There are many examples of people continuing to do great things for our communities, and on this episode, you get to meet the Social Good Warriors of Southern California.
